Grammy Nominee Cassadee Pope Performs in Parkland April 29

By: Sharon Aron Baron

Grammy nominee and music sensation Cassadee Pope will headline at a triple header concert at the Parkland Amphitheatre on Saturday, April 29.

Pope’s recent Grammy nomination came as no surprise as her career has taken off since winning season three of NBC’s The Voice. Her debut solo album, Frame by Frame, reached number one on the U.S. country chart and reached number three in the U.K. Her hit single Thinking of You, a duet with Chris Young, hit number one in both the U.S. and Canada.

Born on Aug. 28, 1989, she grew up in Wellington FL and attended Wellington Christian Academy. She will be returning home from a London trip on which she performed at the renowned O2 Arena.  Her performance will be preceded on the Parkland stage by Steel Town Religion and up-and-coming star Liddy Clarke—both brought to Parkland by Morgan Renee Live, the same promoter who is presenting Pope.

This event is the annual crescendo of Parkland’s Eats ‘N Beats Concert series. The event is free and open to Coral Springs residents, but souvenir tickets will be distributed. Fans can pick-up their tickets at any City of Parkland special event or the P-REC at Pine Trails Park adjacent to the Amphitheater where the performances will take place.

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Pine Trails Park located at 10555 Trails End, Parkland, FL 33076.
