Marjory Stoneman Douglas students now have the opportunity to get vaccinated without leaving school.

Starting on Tuesday, May 4, Broward County School District is offering the Covid-19 vaccine at area high schools over a period of eight days.

According to Principal Michelle Kefford, staff from the health department will administer the vaccines at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on the afternoon of Thursday, May 6.

Students age 16 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine on a walk-up basis without an appointment. Family members and school faculty are also eligible at this time.

A parent must accompany students under 18. For more information, call the school at 754-322-2150.
