As new Covid-19 cases in Florida decline, so do the restrictions on the everyday lives of residents.

Last week, Parkland Talk reported that the Parkland Farmers’ Market would be a drive-thru event. Now, the city has received approval from Broward County to allow residents to exit their vehicles and stroll through the market.

Parks and Recreation Representative Cory Cody stated in an email, “In an effort to promote a safe environment, we will have safety regulations, signage, and implementations that must be followed by all who attend. This is a team effort.”

Some of the precautions visitors will need to take are wearing a facial covering at all times, maintaining a six-foot distance from others, and using sanitizer, which will be provided onsite for those who need it.

The Parkland Farmers’ Market is located at 8350 Ranch Road. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and starts Sunday, November 1.
