In the mood to pamper your pooch? A new one-stop shop for the ulta-mutt dog lover has arrived in Parkland Commons.
Woof Gang Bakery celebrates its grand opening with opportunities for precious pets to win freebies and much more.
The specialty retailer of dog food, supplies, and professional grooming, now occupies the 1,700 square foot spot adjacent to Laura’s Ultimate Pilates Studio. Known for offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere, they cater to a specific niche of dog owners who care about their pets and want to make sure they’re healthy.
Woof Gang carries super-premium pet food options, premium brands, and raw foods. “Our store is basically a Whole Foods Market for dogs,” said Lawrence Fossati, who owns the franchise along with his wife, Rafaela.

Up until now, the pair has always worked in the automotive industry. Lawrence is currently the general manager of Rick Case Honda. But after taking a few years off to raise their son, Enzo, 10, Rafaela decided it was time to invest in something she was passionate about.
“My wife is a pet lover,” said Lawrence, “Our Saint Bernard, Rayka, and Dutch Hound, Rosquinha, travel everywhere with us.”
Since moving to Parkland Bay in 2020, the new store, the 55th location in Florida, is just two miles from their home.
On Saturday, Cascata resident Briana Cabrera brought her Yorkie Bichon mix, Max, to celebrate his 15th birthday at Woof Gang.
“It was perfect timing,” said Cabrera. “It is such a cute shop with lots of birthday-themed treats.”
She said they had champagne and chocolates for the adults and a lot of freebies for the doggies.
Woof Gang will even provide themed photos of their canine clients for every special occasion, starting with Valentine’s Day.
Now through February 12, pet owners can visit the store to enter for a chance to win free food for a year, a gift basket filled with toys, and free collars and leash sets. Free nail trims are available throughout the event, and anyone can receive a 10 percent discount with a booked grooming service.
Woof Gang Bakery is located at 7871 North University Drive. Hours are Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
