The Parkland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a back-to-school panel discussion with principals and local leaders.
Parents who attend will hear a welcome address from Mayor Rich Walker as well as updates from Broward School Board member Lori Alhadeff.
Making up the panel are Parkland Principals from Heron Heights, Park Trails and Riverglades Elementary, Westglades Middle School, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Mary Help of Christians, and Somerset Parkland Academy.
There is no fee to attend, however advanced registration is required.
The discussion will take place Monday, August 9, at 10:00 a.m. in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Auditorium.
Attendees should email any questions for the panelists with a note for whom they are intended to cindy@parklandchamber.org by August 1.
