Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Parkland through April 13.
Auto Theft
7700 block of NW 112th Way – Heron Bay
On April 12, unknown person(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s driveway and stole her unlocked GMC Yukon overnight. The key fob was left inside the unlocked vehicle and no witnesses or video surveillance were found.
12300 block of NW 81st Street – Heron Bay
On April 12, the victim reported her Chevrolet Suburban stolen from the driveway sometime between in the early morning hours on April 12. The vehicle was unlocked, and the key fob was left inside the vehicle.
6300 block of NW 57th Way – Sable Pass
On April 13, the victim advised he parked his Jaguar XJ in his driveway at his address with the keys inside the vehicle. During the overnight hours, the vehicle was removed by an unknown suspect without his permission or authority.
Burglary Conveyance
7900 block of NW 70th Ave – Parkside Estates
On April 8, deputies took a report of a vehicle burglary attempt. The victims observed on their recorded video surveillance a male and female attempting to enter their locked vehicles parked in the driveway. The suspects were last seen by the victim fleeing in a white Dodge Caravan, heading southbound on the Florida turnpike.
7800 block of NW 61st Terrace – Parkland Place
On April 8, the victim called in reference a delayed burglary conveyance. The victim discovered a male trying to open his car doors. The suspect did gain entry to his Honda minivan through an unlocked door. There appeared to be an unidentified suspect standing in the street as a lookout. The vehicle was not present to be processed and nothing was taken from the vehicle. The victim and his neighbor both had RING video surveillance.
6200 block of NW 69th Way – Pine Tree Estates
On April 13, the victim advised he had parked his unlocked BMW in the driveway of his residence. Between April 12 and 13, an unknown suspect entered the vehicle and removed his property without his permission or authority.

6300 block of NW 74 Terrace – Pine Tree Estates Parkland
On April 7, the complainant advised that his neighbor damaged his music speaker with a garden hose.
8000 block of Valencia Court – Rayel Estates
On April 7, the homeowner reported that two males contacted him on his ring camera stating they were with Pike Engineering. The two males were wearing white construction hats and said they were there on behalf of Florida Power and Light Co. An area check was completed and both subjects were gone on arrival.
Social Distancing Complaint
6100 block of NW 66th Ave
On April 11, deputies responded to the listed address in reference to a noise complaint.
Theft – All Other
10680 Coral Street – Cascata
On April 7, the construction manager from Lennar Homes, called the Broward Sheriff’s Office Parkland District to report a stolen shower head.
6575 NW 76th Drive – Terramar Park
Between April 9 and April 11, subjects entered the rear area of Terramar Park, and stole 4 tires from a Bobcat 2200 work vehicle, causing approximately $1,000 in damage to other work equipment. There were no cameras in the area where the incident took place.
