The Community Advisory Board for the City of Parkland held a recycling video contest where students highlighted their creativity while sending an important message.
Congratulations to Brady Frank, Navya Nair, Gianna Amato, and Ella Maurice on highlighting how to recycle right.
Parkland’s Community Advisory Board makes recommendations to the city commission regarding education, cultural programs, and activities, affecting the Parkland community.
The contest was open to all elementary, middle, and high school students who reside in Parkland or attend schools located within the city. Students were challenged to create a video of 60 seconds or less, encouraging proper recycling habits.
Check them out here:
Talented Brady Frank shoots some hoops to show just how easy it is to recycle. So there isn’t any excuse why everyone cannot do it.
Navya Nair submitted this creative stop-motion animated video to show the importance of recycling, which must have taken a lot of time and patience. The result is amazing.
Gianna Amato submitted a talented, colorful, animated video to demonstrate the importance of recycling, which looks very professional.
Ella Maurice is the “Recycling Queen” with a combination of animation, video, and a creative take on Abba’s Dancing Queen. She had fun doing this, and it shows.
Stay up-to-date here to see if the Community Advisory Board will offer another video contest. We’ll let you know.
