The City of Coconut Creek will offer an engaging and dynamic Summer Day Camp for children aged 5 to 13 this summer. Organized by the Parks and Recreation Department, the camp aims to provide a blend of fun, education, and physical activity.
Held from June 17 to August 9, the camp takes place at two locations: the Recreation Complex on Sol Press Boulevard and the Community Center on Lyons Road. These venues will host a wide array of activities designed to cater to the interests and developmental needs of elementary and middle school students.
Participants can look forward to exciting activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and onsite special events. Additionally, the camp will feature up to two field trips per week. The field trips are mandatory for all campers present on the day.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged to secure a spot for this enriching summer experience. Register here.
Job Opportunities for Summer Camp Counselors
In addition to offering a great experience for children, the Summer Day Camp is also looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join as Summer Camp Counselors. This presents an excellent opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in child care, education, and program management in a fun and supportive environment.
