Coconut Creek is gearing up for its summer basketball season with a league exclusively for men aged 18 and older.
The Men’s 18+ Basketball League will be held every Thursday from June 6 through September 12, except for July 4, at the local Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
Games are scheduled for 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. Each team must pay a registration fee of $500, payable exclusively via credit card at the time of registration. Teams must have a minimum of five players and can include up to ten.
Participants are required to provide their own matching and numbered shirts, with shirt colors and team names assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. This uniform requirement ensures that teams are easily distinguishable during matches, adding to the league’s organization and professional feel.
Registration is currently open, but space is limited. The league, which consists of seven teams, is capped at seven teams to maintain a competitive yet manageable schedule. Interested parties can register online through the city’s WebTrac system or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road.
