The Westglades Middle School boys flag football team was crowned Division Champions following their perfect regular season for the second straight year.
The Wolves went 8-0 with victories over Forest Glen, Renaissance Charter (University), Sawgrass Springs, Imagine Charter, Ramblewood, Coral Springs, Lyons Creek, and Renaissance Charter (Coral Springs)
“It has been a blessing to me and our coaching staff to have had such an incredible group of young men this year who really came together as a team,” said Head Coach Larry Bremner. “They have worked hard in practice, and their efforts paid off.”
Coach Bremner is assisted by Donte Nueves and Paul Haber.Their teams consist of Jaxon Anger, Cole Birkins, Dominick. Cannizzaro, Shiloh Dent, Cole Denton, Grant Grubor, Evan Hersh, Porter Jump, Jaxson Kierl, Brian Listopad, Boden Merlino, Luca Purvin, Jonathan Rodriguez, Scott Walker, Jeremiah Backer, Keston Dukes, Edison Garzon, Tripp Gray, Keegan Lake, Jackson Stuller, Ryan Andersen, and Roman Brayon.
The Wolves will have their first playoff game on Tuesday, March 1, against Margate Middle School at 5:15 in Parkland.
