The City of Coconut Creek has announced the Wize Academy Coding & Robotics Summer Camp, an engaging STEM-focused program designed to inspire young minds through hands-on learning in technology, engineering, and innovation.
Open to children ages 5 to 14, the camp provides a dynamic experience where participants can design, build, and code while exploring diverse topics such as robotics, augmented and virtual reality, app development, 3D animation and game development, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum emphasizes real-world STEAM applications, integrating science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics into everyday projects.
The camp runs weekdays from Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 25, at Windmill Park, located at 700 Lyons Road in Coconut Creek. Families can choose between full-day and half-day options:
- Full-day camp: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ($350 per week)
- Half-day camp: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ($225 per week)
Early bird and sibling discounts and early drop-off and late pick-up options are available for added convenience.
