To help prevent consumer fraud and identity theft, the Coconut Creek Police Department is hosting another convenient drive-through Shred Event.
This free event, held on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Butterfly Lot in the 5200 block of NW 40th St., is open only to Coconut Creek residents. The limit is three boxes per vehicle, and all documents are shredded on-site.
By properly disposing of confidential documents containing personal and financial information, residents can safeguard their privacy and identity from criminals.
