Monarch and Coconut Creek High School flag football teams completed exciting 2024 seasons.
The Monarch girls flag football team went 6-6 during the regular season following wins over Coral Glades, Plantation, Hollywood Hills, Coconut Creek, and Northeast High Schools. Prior to their playoff game, the Knights honored Madison Gaines, Naddly Sydney, and Tameria Geddis. The Knights then went on to play Coral Glades and won 12-0 before losing to Marjory Stoneman Douglas 19-0 on Tuesday.
The Coconut Creek flag football team went 3-11, beating Hollywood Hills, Charles W. Flanagan, and Hallandale High School. They played Boy H. Anderson High School in their first postseason game but lost 6-0 on Monday.
