The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber Education Foundation has announced the launch of its Education Micro Grant Program, offering local teachers and schools the chance to secure up to $500 for creative classroom projects.
Open to educators at public and charter schools in Coral Springs and Coconut Creek, the program is designed to support student learning by funding critical educational initiatives.
Grants will be awarded biannually, with the first application period running from August 27 through October 1.
According to the Chamber, the funds will go directly to schools. They can be used to support projects that foster creativity, provide essential resources, or enhance student engagement across elementary, middle, and high schools.
Applications require a project summary, requested funding amount, budget, impact statement, and principal approval.
The Chamber’s Education Task Force will review proposals in partnership with the Education Foundation’s Board of Directors. Selection will prioritize projects that demonstrate creativity, provide direct benefits to students, and are feasible within the $500 cap. Bonus consideration will be given to Chamber members in good standing.
The timeline includes application reviews through mid-October, award notifications by October 20, and grant distribution on November 8, coinciding with the Chamber’s Race for Education event. Recipients will be required to provide an impact report by June 2026.
