The City of Coconut Creek is partnering with The Pantry of Broward Inc. to collect school supplies for local students through its annual Back-to-School Drive.
Residents are encouraged to donate new, unused school supplies to help ensure children have the tools they need for a successful school year. The drive will benefit students and families throughout the community who need assistance preparing for the first day of school.
Requested donations include backpacks, regular and scientific calculators, compasses, composition books, crayons, small dry erase boards, tabbed dividers, erasers, binders and prong folders, glue sticks, highlighters, index cards, lunch bags, markers, spiral notebooks, copy and lined paper, pencils, pens, rulers, scissors, staplers and staples, tissues, and USB flash drives.
Donations may be dropped off at either of the following Coconut Creek locations: Coconut Creek City Hall, 4800 W. Copans Road and Coconut Creek Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road
