Bounnda Jeffry Phillippeaux {BSO}
A Miramar man was arrested after allegedly smearing cat feces on a Coconut Creek home and causing about $12,000 in damage.
According to a Coconut Creek Police Department arrest report, Bounnda Jeffry Phillippeaux, 22, was arrested on October 15 and charged with battery and criminal mischief. The affidavit says Phillippeaux and a woman were arguing when both began damaging each other’s belongings, the woman told police. The woman also alleged Phillippeaux pushed her against a wall during the argument.
As the argument continued, the woman told officers Phillippeaux gathered some of his belongings while the woman placed other items on the front doorstep. After he left, she closed and locked the door, according to the affidavit.
When Phillippeaux tried to put on his shoes, he discovered cat feces inside them and became angry, the woman told police. She said she heard rocks striking the living room window and then saw Phillippeaux through the glass door smearing the feces on the front door and kicking it.
The affidavit says the impact cracked the front door glass, and the living room window was also damaged. In total, the report estimates the damage exceeded $12,000.
After an investigation, police arrested Phillippeaux nearby. They transported him to the Broward County Main Jail.
