2024 Butterfly Festival Recap
The City of Coconut Creek is excited to announce its highly anticipated Annual Butterfly Festival on Saturday, February 22.
Held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Sabal Pines Park, located at 5005 NW 39th Avenue, this family-friendly event, which celebrates the city’s anniversary, offers something for everyone and is free to attend.
The festival will feature various attractions, including a business expo with over 75 local businesses, organizations, and crafters, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Guests will have the chance to explore a range of goods and services while supporting local entrepreneurs.
Live entertainment will fill the air throughout the day, with performances from local artists El Tumbao, a Latin dance band, which will take the stage to keep festival-goers dancing. In addition, Circus Stella will wow the crowd with their circus dog shows, and the City of Coconut Creek Police Department will host an impressive K-9 demonstration.
The evening will culminate with a performance by Keith as Kenny, a tribute band honoring country music star Kenny Chesney, at 6:30 p.m. Following the concert, the festival will wrap up with a spectacular Zambelli fireworks display at 8:00 p.m.
In addition to the entertainment, the festival offers free parking at the Butterfly Parking Lot, 5280 NW 40th Street, directly east of the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
A free shuttle service will be available from 1:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to transport guests to Sabal Pines Park. Please note that there is no public parking at the park, and only limited handicap parking will be available. A free valet station will be provided at the park for those arriving by bicycle.
