Coconut Creek Police responded to various calls from September 29 to October 5, 2026. Below is a detailed account of the incidents local law enforcement handled during this period.
Incidents
Burglary
A residential burglary occurred at Windsor on Lyons Road on Sept. 28 and was reported Sept. 29. The estimated loss was $5,151.
Vehicle Theft
A motorcycle was reported stolen from Evergreen on Wiles Road on Sept. 27. The incident was reported Sept. 30.
A stolen U-Haul was recovered at Club Caribe on Northwest 61st Street on Oct. 1. Two juveniles and an adult were arrested. The incident occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Pebblebrook Manor between Oct. 2 and Oct. 3.
Theft
A grease container was reported stolen from Winston Park Plaza, 5463 Lyons Road, between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1. The estimated loss was $1,200.
An adult man was arrested following a fraudulent check incident at a bank on Coconut Creek Parkway on Oct. 2.
Fraud
Fraudulent online credit card use associated with Stagecoach Drive occurred between July 30 and Sept. 1 and was reported Oct. 2. The estimated loss was $35.
Fraudulent credit card charges totaling $984 were reported at Publix on West Hillsboro Boulevard. The incident occurred Oct. 3 and was reported Oct. 5. The report was made for documentation only.
A jury duty scam was reported on Cayman Way in Wynmoor on Oct. 5. The estimated loss was $800.
Battery
A felony battery incident was reported at Sorbet on Northwest 43rd Terrace on Sept. 30. A man was arrested and taken to the Broward County Main Jail.
A battery occurred at Avalon on Wiles Road on Oct. 1 and was reported Oct. 2. A waiver of prosecution was noted.
A woman was arrested on Coconut Creek Parkway on Oct. 3 in connection with battery on a law enforcement officer.
An alleged battery involving dating violence was reported at Country Lakes on Northwest 39th Avenue on Oct. 4.
A woman was arrested after allegedly battering her roommate at Deerfield Lakes Mobile Home Park on Northwest 44th Avenue on Oct. 5.
Narcotics
A traffic stop on North State Road 7 on Oct. 3 resulted in an arrest involving felony narcotics and firearm possession. The woman was taken to the Broward County Jail.
Fleeing Law Enforcement
A juvenile riding an electric motorcycle was arrested after allegedly fleeing law enforcement on Cocolake Drive on Oct. 3.
School Incidents
A student at Monarch High School on Wiles Road reportedly sent a concerning message to another student over the weekend. The incident was reported Sept. 30.
A verbal threat between students at Lyons Creek Middle School on Sol Press Boulevard occurred between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 and was reported Oct. 1.
A disturbance between two students at Lyons Creek Middle School occurred Sept. 29 and was reported Oct. 2.
Disturbances
A verbal domestic disturbance was reported at Karanda Village I on Cocoplum Circle on Sept. 30.
A domestic disturbance was reported at Golden Raintree III on Northwest 30th Street on Oct. 1.
A verbal domestic disturbance was reported at Advenir on Cocoplum Circle between Oct. 2 and Oct. 3.
A noncriminal disturbance between neighbors was reported on Northwest 56th Street on Oct. 4.
A verbal domestic disturbance was reported at Windsor on Lyons Road on Oct. 4.
Property Damage
Property damage was reported at 4550 N. State Road 7 on Oct. 5.
Found Property
A stolen gun was found at Paloma Lakes on Mimosa Place on Oct. 2.
Arrests
Samuel David Gonzalez Rodriguez, 31, was arrested Sept. 29 at 4441 NW Eighth St. on a charge of criminal mischief involving damage of more than $200 but less than $1,000.
Henrick Dinizteixeira Silva, 21, was arrested Sept. 30 at 6010 NW 43rd Terrace on a charge of felony domestic battery resulting in great bodily harm or disability.
Malakai Jessiah Sturrup, 18, was arrested Oct. 1 at 5550 NW 61st St. on a charge of grand theft auto.
Carlos Alejandro Guerragonzalez, 27, was arrested Oct. 2 at 4807 Coconut Creek Parkway on a charge of grand theft involving more than $750 but less than $5,000.
Joseph Lee Cantrell, 35, was arrested Oct. 2 at 4550 N. State Road 7. The bulletin lists two separate grand theft charges involving more than $750 but less than $5,000.
Anyah Nicole Young, 18, was arrested Oct. 3 at 3700 Coconut Creek Parkway on a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer.
Megan Jennifer Smith, 43, was arrested Oct. 3 at 6700 N. State Road 7 on a charge of possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis or more than 3 grams of synthetic cannabinoids.
Tracy May Hoyt, 41, was arrested Oct. 5 on Northwest 44th Avenue on a charge of domestic battery.
