Incidents
Burglary and Theft
A residence burglary was reported in the Tallowwood mobile home community in the 6500 block of Northwest 32nd Avenue on May 5. A trespass warning was issued.
A theft from a motor vehicle was reported at Legacy Apartments, 4511 West Atlantic Boulevard, on May 6. The reported loss was $400.
Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway, reported a felony retail theft on May 6 involving approximately $30 in merchandise.
Kohl’s, 6950 North State Road 7, reported a delayed retail theft on May 6 involving approximately $899 in merchandise. The suspect fled the store.
A delayed residence burglary in Coral Pointe was reported May 7 in the 5400 block of Northwest 42nd Way. The estimated loss was $100,000.
A burglary with assault was reported May 9 in Baywood Village III.
Walmart, 5571 West Hillsboro Boulevard, reported an employee theft investigation involving approximately $90 in merchandise.
A vehicle theft was reported May 10 at Coconut Palm Club, 5320 Northwest 55th Boulevard. The vehicle owner tracked the vehicle to North Miami Beach, where police were expected to recover it.
Cocobay reported criminal mischief to its front gate on May 10.
A bicycle theft with an estimated loss of $700 was reported May 11 in Country Lakes Mobile Home Park.
Assaults and Domestic Incidents
A domestic violence injunction violation was reported May 5 in South Creek.
A physical confrontation stemming from a traffic crash was reported May 5 at 4400 Sol Press Boulevard. No arrests were made.
A fight between friends was reported May 6 near Northwest Eighth Street and Palmetto Drive. The victim declined prosecution.
An aggravated assault and battery involving an elderly victim was reported May 7 at Marathon.
A domestic disturbance involving false imprisonment led to an arrest May 8 in the San Mellina neighborhood.
An altercation involving an elderly victim was reported May 8 in a Walgreens parking lot on Coconut Creek Parkway.
An aggravated battery involving a vehicle used as a deadly weapon was reported May 10 near Lyons Road. Police said an ex-boyfriend tracked down his former girlfriend while she was with another man. An 18-year-old suspect was taken to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Main Jail.
A dating violence battery was reported May 11 at Vista Verda on West Atlantic Boulevard.
Drug and DUI Arrests
A traffic stop at 2200 Lyons Road on May 5 resulted in four arrests, including felony fentanyl and oxycodone possession charges.
A traffic stop near Lyons Road and Winston Park Boulevard on May 5 resulted in the discovery of 26.4 grams of marijuana.
A traffic stop on Johnson Road on May 7 resulted in a methamphetamine possession arrest.
A DUI arrest was made May 10 on West Hillsboro Boulevard.

Police assisted the Broward Sheriff’s Office on May 5 in apprehending burglary suspects near Northwest 48th Avenue and Northwest 74th Place in Pompano Beach.
A suspicious incident involving possible narcotics activity and stolen motorcycles was reported May 7 in Country Lakes.
A seventh-grade student at Lyons Creek Middle School was investigated after making an inappropriate comment.
An unattended natural death was reported May 10 in South Creek.
Two separate fire incidents were reported May 10, including an indoor fire on Acacia Circle and a fence fire caused by discarded coals in South Creek.
Arrests
Tyler Ryan Pierrephilippe, 21, was arrested May 5 on a felony charge of possession of oxycodone following a traffic stop on Lyons Road.
Morris Lee Johnson, 22, was arrested May 5 on a felony fentanyl possession charge.
Jerry Michael Adams, 56, was arrested May 5 on a felony marijuana possession charge involving more than 20 grams.
Alan M. Caldwell, 35, was arrested May 6 on felony charges of fleeing and eluding law enforcement and grand theft.
Evan Michel Natland, 31, was arrested May 7 on a felony methamphetamine possession charge.
Volodymyr Maliarov, 38, was arrested May 8 on a felony false imprisonment charge.
Daniela Aguirre, 23, was arrested May 9 on felony charges of resisting an officer with violence, grand theft auto and burglary with assault or battery.
Patrick Joseph Lane, 28, was arrested May 10 on misdemeanor charges of DUI and dating violence battery.
Dallen Luis Morejon, 18, was arrested May 11 on a felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon dating violence charge.
