Coconut Creek Police responded to various calls from December 9 to 15, 2025. Below is a detailed account of the incidents handled by local law enforcement during this period.
Property and Theft
Found Property: Police responded to reports of found property at locations including 1100 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek High School, and 4467 Lyons Road.
Package Theft: Multiple package thefts were reported in the Karanda Village area along Cocoplum Circle between Dec. 11–12, with estimated losses ranging from $24 to $400.
Retail Theft: A delayed shoplifting incident was reported at Burlington, 4847 Coconut Creek Parkway, with an estimated loss of $143.
Vehicle Theft: A vehicle was reported stolen overnight from Cypress Shores on Lyons Road. Another vehicle theft investigation involved a vehicle taken earlier in the year from Al Hendrickson Toyota.
Burglary – Residence: A delayed burglary was reported at a home on NW 44th Way, with an estimated loss of $120.
Burglary – Business: A burglary was reported at Precious Metals & Rare Coin Investments, 1351 Lyons Road, where suspects cut into a safe through a wall from an adjacent vacant unit.
Domestic & Disturbance Calls
Domestic Disturbances: Officers responded to several verbal domestic disturbances at locations including Lyons Road, Coral Tree Circle, Wiles Road, and Avalon at Coconut Creek. No arrests were made in several of these incidents.
Aggravated Battery (Domestic): Multiple aggravated battery investigations were reported, including dating violence and domestic-related incidents at residential communities.
Assaults & Batteries
Aggravated Assault: An aggravated assault was reported in the Wynmoor community. The victim declined prosecution.
Battery: Simple battery investigations were reported at a McDonald’s on State Road 7 and at SOS Children’s Village. No arrests were made in some cases.
Elderly & Child-Related Cases
Elderly Abuse/Neglect: Several elderly abuse or neglect cases were investigated, including incidents in Wynmoor and Country Lakes Mobile Home Park. Some cases were later deemed unfounded.
Child Neglect: Two juveniles were located in a roadway at Pond Apple Place III, resulting in a child neglect investigation.
Threat Assessments: Threat assessment reports were filed at Coconut Creek Elementary and Monarch High School. No credible threats were identified.
Other Notable Incidents
Narcotics: Officers investigated marijuana possession cases, including one involving more than 20 grams and another traffic stop that resulted in multiple arrests. A narcotics overdose involving fentanyl was reported, with Narcan deployed and the individual transported to the hospital.
Animal Bite: An animal bite to a human was reported in the Ashton Parc neighborhood.
Criminal Mischief: A vehicle was damaged at Coconut Palm Club.
Missing Juvenile: A juvenile was reported missing from the Somerset area and later located.
Natural Death: A natural death was reported at a residence on NW 69th Court.
Arrests
Didier Emmanuel Gamble, 26 – Arrested on a charge of grand theft over $750 but less than $5,000.
Stephan Kofi Bio, 30 – Arrested on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation (dating relationship).
Burt William Nader, 30 – Arrested on a charge of aggravated stalking.
Eric Benjamin McKinnie, 26 – Arrested on a charge of resisting an officer without violence.
Lanaya Zikyia Morris, 19 – Arrested on a charge of possession of cannabis under 20 grams/synthetic cannabinoids under 3 grams.
Steve Francois, 35 – Arrested on a charge of possession of cannabis under 20 grams/synthetic cannabinoids under 3 grams.
Roy Adir Bouhnik, 23 – Arrested on a charge of possession of cannabis under 20 grams/synthetic cannabinoids under 3 grams.
Andrew Macleod Manson, 35 – Arrested on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation.
