Lost/Stolen Property
A lost passport was reported by an international student at 7600 Lyons Rd. The passport was lost sometime between April 1 and May 20.
Animal Complaint
An animal complaint was reported at The Preserve Cypress Hammocks on May 20.
Battery
A battery involving two lawn workers occurred at 2505 Carambola Cir N on May 20.
A domestic battery was reported at 1811 Lyons Rd on May 22. A male suspect was taken into custody.
A battery incident was reported at Windsor apartments on May 24. One arrest was made.
A domestic battery was reported at Casa Palma on May 25.
A battery involving an elderly victim was reported in Wynmoor on May 25. A female suspect was arrested.
Weapons on School Property
An 18-year-old female student was arrested for possessing pepper spray at Dave Thomas Educational Center on May 21.
Suspicious Incidents
Multiple suspicious incidents were reported, including at Monarch High School on May 22, 4800 W Copans Rd on May 23, and 5050 Wiles Rd.
Disturbances
General disturbances were reported at 1851 Lyons Rd on May 21 and 1400 NW 44th Ave (Coconut Creek High School) involving a teacher and student on May 23.
Criminal Mischief
Vandalism involving spray paint to a community wall and home was reported at Bermuda Cove on May 23.
Traffic and DUI
A DUI arrest followed a crash at Hillsboro Blvd and Lyons Rd on May 22.
Another DUI arrest was made at 4600 Lyons Rd on May 25.
A driver with a suspended license was arrested during a traffic stop at 3600 W Sample Rd on May 23.
A black Honda Accord fled a traffic stop at 4300 W Atlantic Blvd on May 23.
Retail Thefts
Shoplifting incidents were reported at:
Publix at 6570 N State Road 7 on May 22 ($20 loss).
Walmart at 5571 SR 810 on May 23 ($204 loss), May 24 ($41 loss), and May 25 ($200 loss). The May 25 incident also involved concealed carry of metal knuckles.
CVS Pharmacy at 4550 Lyons Rd on May 24 ($1,215 loss).
Vehicle Thefts
An auto theft was reported at Cusano’s Bakery, 5480 W Hillsboro Blvd, overnight between May 21–22.
A motorcycle theft was reported at Club Caribe Apartments, 5510 NW 61st St, on May 24.
Burglary
A burglary was reported at a residence on Winston Park Blvd on May 24. The suspect fled and was later apprehended by K9.
Trespassing
Multiple trespassing incidents were reported:
Walmart, 5571 W Hillsboro Blvd, on May 22.
Fornello restaurant, 5369 Lyons Rd, on May 23.
Promenade on May 24, involving multiple juveniles arrested for trespass after warning.
Police Assists and Capias Warrants
Several individuals were arrested on outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants throughout the city, including at Tallowood, Vista Verde, Banyan Pointe, and Walmart.

A subject was Baker Acted on May 21 at 5460 Lyons Rd.
A firearm arrest involving a minor occurred during a traffic stop at 4400 Lyons Rd on May 23.
A natural death was reported at 1905 Bermuda Cir on May 24.
An injured person was bitten by a dog at 3647 Carambola Cir N on May 25.
Property was reported lost at 5425 Lyons Rd and found at 4998 Pebblebrook Ter.
