Coconut Creek Crime Blotter: Vehicle Stolen From Coconut Creek Car Dealership Lot, Police Say

Coconut Creek Police responded to various calls from April 28 to May 4, 2026. Below is a detailed account of the incidents handled by local law enforcement during this period.
Incidents
A student at Tradewinds Elementary, located at 5400 Johnson Road, was reported for bringing two alcoholic beverages to school on April 28.
A delayed retail theft was reported at Kohl’s, 6950 N. State Road 7, involving approximately $503 in stolen merchandise.
Coconut Creek High School officers assisted with two separate incidents on April 29, including the recovery of a missing juvenile from Tamarac and a Department of Children and Families investigation involving a student.
Sephora, located at 4455 Lyons Road, reported a delayed retail theft totaling approximately $393.
A vehicle was reported stolen from the used car lot at Al Hendrickson Toyota, 5201 W. Sample Road, sometime between March 26 and April 30.
Publix at Coconut Creek Plaza, 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway, reported someone attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill on April 30.
A woman suffered injuries during an aggravated domestic battery incident in the Buttonwood Hammocks neighborhood on April 30. Police said felony charges were filed against a male suspect.
Officers arrested a driver for DUI following a two-vehicle crash near 4600 W. Copans Road shortly after midnight on May 1.
A disturbance involving a student on a school bus was reported at Monarch High School on May 1.
An electric motorcycle rider was accused of fleeing and eluding law enforcement near 4800 W. Copans Road on May 2.
A stolen vehicle reported at Casa Palma was later recovered by Hialeah Police Department.
Walmart at 5571 W. Hillsboro Boulevard reported a retail theft involving approximately $94 in merchandise on May 3.
Officers investigated a burglary at Coconut Palm Club reported between May 1 and May 3.
Another stolen vehicle was reported at Coconut Palm Club on May 4, along with an attempted vehicle theft where the vehicle’s computer system was disabled.
Publix at 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway reported approximately $500 worth of stolen meat products on May 4.
Arrests
Austin Ray Collier, 32, was arrested on a charge of battery on a person 65 years of age or older stemming from an April 30 incident at 1929 NW 49th Avenue.
Christine C. Uy, 43, was arrested on a charge of child abuse on April 30 at 3854 Lyons Road.
Unique Ayanna Quince, 26, was arrested on a DUI charge following a May 1 incident near 4600 W. Copans Road.
Francois Cineus, 52, was arrested on a second-offense DUI charge on May 3 near 4700 W. Sample Road.
Hayward Smith, 34, was arrested on a retail theft charge on May 3 at Walmart, 5571 W. Hillsboro Boulevard.
Tyqavious Wayquan Atkins, 30, was arrested on a charge of violating a domestic violence injunction on May 3 at 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway.
