Coconut Creek Police responded to various calls from May 13 to 19. Below is a detailed account of the incidents handled by local law enforcement during this period.
Battery
A woman was the victim of a simple battery at Wood Lakes Villas between 3:01 a.m. and 3:41 a.m. on May 13.
Another battery occurred at Country Club Lakes Apartments on May 14. A woman reported being struck during a domestic incident.
A third battery was reported at The Landings that same day. The victim signed Marsy’s Law.
In a domestic dispute at The Preserve, a man reported being battered just after midnight on May 18.
A woman was the victim of a battery at Riviera Palms Apartments on May 18.
Theft and Burglary
A vehicle parked at Karanda Village had its window smashed and items stolen between May 12 and 13.
A Mercedes Benz was reported stolen from a dealership at 4250 N State Road 7 between April 16 and May 13.
An Acura was stolen from Golden Raintree 5 during the early hours of May 14.
An Infiniti QX55 was reported stolen from Centerpointe between May 14 and 15.
A delayed theft totaling $600 was reported on May 16 from a residence on NW 74th Street.
A burglary of an occupied home in Wynmoor was reported on May 17, with a loss estimated at $100.
Gift card fraud was reported at Coconut Creek Plaza on May 15.
Shoplifting incidents occurred at Walmart on May 16 (loss of $35) and Publix on May 17 (loss of $765, primarily baby formula).
Vehicle Incidents
Several traffic-related incidents occurred, including two vehicle thefts, traffic stops involving seized tags, and a minor school bus crash at Copans and Lyons Roads.
A vehicle fire was reported at Coral Creek Shops on May 14. No surrounding damage occurred.
Property Incidents
Property was reported damaged at Coquina and on Coconut Creek Parkway.
Lost property included a wallet, a power tool from Station 94, and other miscellaneous items.
Found property was reported on Lyons Road on May 16.
Other Notable Incidents
A juvenile disturbance was reported at the Promenade on May 17. Trespass warnings were issued.
A loitering and prowling incident led to an arrest at a business plaza on SR 810.
A SWAT search and arrest warrant was executed on May 16.
Several police assists were recorded involving Coral Springs, Henderson, and fire rescue.
Two natural deaths occurred in Tallowwood Isle and Wynmoor.
One suspicious incident was investigated at Breckenridge on May 18.
A K-9 unit was deployed for a narcotics sniff at AOJ Margate with no drugs found.
Arrests
Chadwick Androl Barclay, 28, was arrested for dating violence battery on May 13.
Michael Victor Kozakoff, 24, was arrested for loitering and prowling on May 14.
Denise Michele Aiello, 50, was arrested for domestic battery on May 14.
Derek Sanderson, 52, was arrested for domestic battery by strangulation on May 15.
Megan Denise Mack, 31, was arrested for DUI on May 15.
Nerlande Alphonse, 50, was arrested for grand theft auto on May 15.
Reginald J. Neal, 54, was arrested for retail theft at Walmart on May 16.
Lovely Semerant, 31, was arrested for domestic battery on May 18.
Tristan Andrew Duke, 39, was arrested for domestic battery on May 18.
