The City of Coconut Creek invites the community for a night of throwback dancing fun at its upcoming “Disco in December” celebration.
The free all-ages community event takes place Friday, December 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the City Hall courtyard, located at 4800 West Copans Road.
The evening kicks off with Melendrez Dance Studios leading disco dance lessons. At 7:00 p.m., the Studio 54 Band will take the stage as the night’s featured musical act, performing high-energy hits from the golden age of disco.
Food vendors will be on-site offering a variety of options for those who want to grab dinner or snacks during the festivities.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers for comfort. Chairs are also recommended for seating in the courtyard.
City officials note that while the event is open to all ages, pets are not permitted.
