Coconut Creek High School students were honored at Broward County Public Schools’ 2026 CTE Scholar Banquet, recognizing top achievers in career and technical education programs.
Hosted by Broward County Public Schools’ Career, Technical, Adult & Community Education Department, the banquet took place April 2 at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, bringing together School Board members, administrators, educators, families, and community partners.
Several Coconut Creek High School students earned top honors for their achievements across multiple disciplines. Julian Panza was recognized in Applied Information Technology, Briana Julmiste earned honors in Business and Entrepreneurship, and Jayda Washington was also recognized in Applied Information Technology.
District officials said the awards celebrate students who have demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and commitment within their chosen CTE pathways.
Selections were made by district leadership, including Mr. Michael Fridel and his team.
Career and Technical Education programs in Broward County Public Schools are designed to prepare students for high-demand careers through a combination of hands-on learning, industry certifications, and innovative academic pathways.
