Coconut Creek High School’s Cougar Drone Team soared to victory, earning first place at a drone championship competition held at Nova Middle School.
Led by teachers Ms. Mahilum and Mr. Imbert, the team showcased advanced skills in flying, navigation, and speed, outperforming competitors to secure the top spot.
The championship highlighted students’ technical abilities and teamwork as they maneuvered drones through a series of challenges.
Principal Dr. Nicole Nearor praised the students and coaches for their achievement, calling it an example of the school’s “Cougar Standard of Excellence.”
