Last year’s winner: the Ceron residence. {City of Coconut Creek}
The City of Coconut Creek is once again inviting residents and businesses to deck their halls and walls for the annual Holiday Light Contest.
Participants can showcase their most dazzling exterior light displays for a chance to win gift card prizes and community bragging rights. Entries will be judged by the number of Facebook “likes” received, with first place earning $100, second place $75, and third place $50.
Voting runs from Tuesday, December 9, through Tuesday, January 6. Winners will be announced by Thursday, January 8, on the City’s social media pages. Both participation and voting are free.
Entrants will receive a lawn sign indicating their participation and must submit a photo of their display. Homes in gated communities are welcome to participate but are not eligible to win.
To register, email CreekContest@coconutcreek.gov and include the family or business name, address, community name, contact phone number, and a photo of the home or business.
All entries become public records and property of the City of Coconut Creek, which may use them for non-commercial purposes in brochures, flyers, websites, advertisements, or social media.
