Coconut Creek Recreational Complex {Aiden Palmer}
The City of Coconut Creek is inviting families to participate in its new Toddler Open Gym Fridays, a parent-and-child program designed to help little ones develop motor skills while having fun.
The program, geared toward children ages 2 to 4, offers an open gym format where participants can practice soccer and basketball, explore agility equipment, and enjoy creative stations. Parent participation is required, with one parent accompanying each child. Both parent and child must wear sneakers.
Two sessions will be held this fall at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. The first session runs from Fridays, September 5 through October 10, and the second session runs from November 7 through December 19, with no class on November 28. Each class takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The cost is $30 per session for residents of Coconut Creek and $40 for non-residents. Parents attend free with a paid participant, and space is limited to 20 children per session. Credit card payment is required.
Registration is open until full and can be completed online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. A WebTrac account is required for online registration.
For assistance with account setup, residents can call the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580. Additional program details are available at CoconutCreek.net/Recreation.
