Residents of the Crescent Creek Homeowners Association will soon see improved landscaping in their community.
During the January 22 meeting, the commission passed a resolution approving the Crescent Creek Homeowners Association application for grant funds of up to $20,000 from the Neighborhood Enhancement Grant Program.
The project will cost $22,800 to complete and involves a multi-phase landscape design project to redesign the street tree landscape master plan in accordance with the right tree, right place principles. The work will take place in the area of NW 39th Avenue and West Hillsboro Boulevard. The association will pay the additional $2,800 and any other costs.
The association will retain Gardner and Semler Landscape Architecture to assess current conditions and prepare a new street tree landscape master plan. The association has agreed to be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the improvements, according to city information.
