Parents and caregivers can receive free assistance ensuring their children’s car seats are installed correctly during a Car Seat Safety Check hosted by the Coconut Creek Police Department.
The event will take place on Friday, July 17, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Bright Horizons, 5601 Regency Lakes Blvd. in Coconut Creek.
Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to inspect car seats and booster seats, demonstrate proper installation techniques, and help families ensure children are safely and securely restrained while traveling.
The free event is presented in partnership with Safe Kids Broward County and is open to families seeking guidance on child passenger safety.
