
Coconut Creek Arbor Day event in 2025. {City of Coconut Creek}
The City of Coconut Creek will mark Arbor Day with a community-focused giveaway event offering free trees, plants, and environmental education for residents.
The city’s Arbor Day Tree Giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to noon at Coconut Creek City Hall. The event is free and open to all ages.
Each Coconut Creek household is eligible to receive one free tree and two free plants, while supplies last. Participants must show proof of residency to qualify for the giveaway.
In addition to the distribution, attendees can visit informational stations focused on sustainable gardening and environmental stewardship. Topics will include how to properly care for trees and plants, starting and maintaining a butterfly garden, selecting native plants, attracting beneficial insects, protecting water quality and composting.
Experts, including Master Gardeners, will be on-site to answer questions and provide guidance to residents interested in enhancing their home landscapes.
