Coconut Creek residents who want to know more about the proposed tax legislation can attend a virtual town hall meeting on Tuesday, February 3, at 6:00 p.m.
State Representative Christine Hunschofsky, City Manager Sheila Rose, Mayor Jackie Railey, and Finance Director Peta-Gay Lake will all be on the agenda for the virtual meeting. They will provide information on the proposed tax legislation and what it could mean for Coconut Creek residents.
During previous commission meetings, Rose said that a significant reduction in property tax revenue would lead to cuts in city services and that residents should be aware of the consequences of a tax cut.
To attend the virtual meeting, log in to www.coconutcreek.gov/propertytax.
