The City of Coconut Creek is inviting residents to stay active and competitive with the launch of its Adult Flag Football League for 2026.
The seven-on-seven league is open to adults ages 18 and older and will feature 10 regular-season games followed by playoffs and a championship. Four teams will qualify for the postseason in a single-elimination format, with the championship team earning a trophy and prizes.
Games will be played on Wednesdays from March 4 through May 6, with scheduled start times at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. If needed, rainout or makeup games will be held on Saturday mornings, March 28, April 18, and May 2.
All games will take place at George S. Gerber Memorial Park, located at 4715 NW 30th Street.
The team registration fee is $550 and must be paid in full at the time of registration. Payment is accepted by credit card only. Teams are responsible for providing their own matching, numbered shirts, with team names and shirt colors assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each team must have at least 7 players and may roster up to 15. Individual players who do not have a team are encouraged to email CreekSportsFootball@coconutcreek.net to be added to the free agent list at no cost.
Registration is open until the league is full, with a limit of 6 teams. Participants can register online at CoconutCreek.gov/WebTrac or in person at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, or the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd. A WebTrac account is required for online registration; assistance is available by calling the Community Center at 954-545-6670.
