Broward residents who want to obtain a Florida driver’s license or have one renewed should attend the Florida Licensing Event on Wheels (FLOW) event.
FLOW will take place at the Rowe Community Center at 900 NW 43rd Avenue in Coconut Creek on Wednesday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will provide individuals with an opportunity to avoid the long lines and delays associated with getting an appointment at the DMV locations in Margate, Sunrise, and Lauderdale Lakes.
The FLOW event is being organized by the office of Florida Representative Christine Hunschofsky. It is open to the public, but an appointment must be made by calling 954-953-2760 or emailing hd095@flhouse.gov.
“This will be good for people who are coming from out of state and need a Florida driver’s license or a real ID,” said William Giliberti, legislative aide.
