Geilsa Rosinha loves to paint butterflies and hearts.
While living in Coconut Creek, a city that takes pride in its monarch butterflies, Rosinha developed an interest in painting them.
“I learned about butterflies and how to paint them, and I have produced many butterfly paintings. My favorite color is blue,” said Rosinha.
Now a resident of Coral Springs, she was one of the art vendors at the Craft Festival at the Promenade at Coconut Creek on November 15 and 16. The event featured vendors offering various forms of art and some up-and-coming businesses.
Allyson Rubin, of Coconut Creek, was offering mixed media with an ocean theme. “I love the ocean, and I like to create paintings of what is in and above the ocean. I enjoy being a part of this show,” she said.
