Former Marjory Stoneman Douglas graduate Max Boling was officially named the new Head Coach at Coral Springs Charter.
A 2014 graduate of MSD, he takes over for Charlie Fine, who left to coach at West Boca Raton with Jerry Albert.
“This is as good of an opportunity as there is in the county,” said Coach Boling. “I’m really grateful to be part of the athletic department at CSC. Looking forward to getting after it and contributing to this program’s established reputation in Broward.”
Boling previously played for Head Coach Todd Fitz-Gerald with the Eagles in 2014. He helped the Eagles to a record of 18-9 while hitting .342, driving in 14 runs, and scoring 13. bowling also made three appearances on the mound and recorded a save. Boling had an ERA of 1.05 before playing college baseball at Weber International.
Boling helped lead his team to their first conference title in school history and led his team to their first Conference title in school history. Boling holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Most recently, Coach Boling spent four seasons as the Varsity Assistant/Head JV Coach at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, where he helped the Eagles win back-to-back State Championships.
