A yoga and Pilates fusion class benefiting cancer research will take place Sunday, Feb. 8, in Coconut Creek.
Held by The Greater Broward Chapter of the Pap Corps, the event, titled “Namaste Sunday: Fit for a Cure,” is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. at Evolution Yoga, located at 6814 N State Rd 7. The fundraiser will feature a combined yoga and Pilates workout, along with local vendors and raffle prizes.
Registration costs $50 for Evolution Yoga members and $60 for nonmembers. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to shop from vendors. Attendees should bring a yoga mat and water.
Proceeds from the event will support cancer research for Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, according to organizers. The fundraiser is sponsored by Evolution Yoga & Fitness.
