North Broward Prep will officially have three players set to compete in the Broward-Palm Beach All-Star Game on Jan. 14.
Graham Mathieu, Jaden Blackburn, and Zandher Mesidprt helped the Eagles win five games this season with victories over Archbishop McCarthy, Pembroke Pines Charter, Northeast, Coral Springs Charter, and American Heritage High School.
Mathieu, who was a captain this past season, played on the offensive line. NBP had a terrific offensive season with 932 passing yards and 1,763 rushing yards. They also scored 37 offensive touchdowns.
Blackburn shined this year on defense as a cornerback. Mostly matched up against the opposing team’s best receiver, he also played in the All-American Bowl in Miami in December and was selected to the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Los Angeles at Sofi Stadium on April 5-8.
Mesidort also played well on defense, finishing second in tackles. He also had nearly a third of them go for a loss of yards. These three players will also be joined by their coach, Rex Nottaage. This game will be played at Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach at 6 p.m.
