The City of Coconut Creek has announced the return of Touch-A-Truck, a highly anticipated family-friendly event set to take place on Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Located at the Butterfly Lot on 5280 NW 40th Street, east of the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, this event is an immersive experience for attendees of all ages, allowing them to explore and interact with a diverse range of trucks and vehicles that play a vital role in the community.
Touch-A-Truck offers an opportunity for visitors to get up close and personal with their favorite trucks and pieces of machinery. From city vehicles like police cars, fire engines, and public works trucks to a variety of non-city trucks, there will be an impressive selection on display. Attendees will have the chance to touch the vehicles, climb aboard, and ask questions, creating a hands-on learning experience in a safe environment.
In consideration of sensory-sensitive individuals, the event will feature a special sensory-friendly hour during the first part of the event. This hour will be free from loud sounds and blaring horns, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Touch-A-Truck will also offer a wide range of children’s activities, providing entertainment and fun for the little ones. From face painting to inflatable play areas, there will be no shortage of amusement to keep the young attendees engaged and entertained throughout the event.
To ensure no one goes hungry during the festivities, a variety of food trucks will be on-site. Additionally, a live DJ will provide energetic tunes, creating a lively and festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
This year’s Touch-A-Truck event is open to all ages, making it the perfect outing for families, truck enthusiasts, and curious minds. However, organizers kindly request that attendees leave their pets at home, as the event is not suitable for animals.
Thanks to the generous support of event sponsors, Touch-A-Truck offers free admission to all attendees. No pre-registration is required, so interested individuals can show up and join in on the fun. The event is sponsored by Emerald Towing & Recovery, Map Broward, TLC Truck & Equipment, and Truly Nolen.
