The City of Coconut Creek held its Touch-A-Truck event, which provided an immersive opportunity for people of all ages to interact with a variety of trucks and vehicles.
Held on March 9, Touch-A-Truck, visitors were given the chance to closely examine, touch, and even climb into various city and non-city vehicles, including police cars, fire engines, and public works trucks, among others. The event was designed as a hands-on educational experience within a secure setting, enabling attendees to ask questions and learn directly from the operators.
Recognizing the needs of sensory-sensitive guests, a special quiet hour was introduced at the beginning of the event, minimizing loud noises and ensuring a more comfortable experience for all.
In addition to vehicle exploration, the event featured numerous children’s activities, like face painting and inflatable play areas, alongside food trucks and live music, contributing to a festive and enjoyable atmosphere.
