In a twist on traditional sports, the city of Coconut Creek is set to host an exciting glow-in-the-dark volleyball event designed exclusively for teenagers.
Held on Thursday, March 28, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., this innovative event will light up the night and provide a fun, vibrant experience for participants aged 14 to 17.
The game will take place in an unlit indoor environment at the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road. The court and all equipment, including the volleyball, will glow in the dark, creating a fun atmosphere for players and spectators.
To enhance the glowing experience, participants will receive a special shirt that will light up under the event’s unique lighting.
The registration fee is $25 for Coconut Creek residents and $35 for non-residents, with only accepting credit card payments.
Space for this one-of-a-kind volleyball event is limited to 16 participants. Those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their spot. Registration is ongoing and can be completed online via the city’s WebTrac system at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or by walk-in at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
