A collaborative investigation by the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Coconut Creek Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a Coconut Creek resident on child pornography charges.
According to CCPD investigation records, the task force, comprised of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, began investigating the crimes allegedly committed by a man, identified as Rylee Ryan, 21, of Coconut Creek, earlier this year when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received two CyberTips from Snapchat on February 19 and February 26.
According to records, these reports indicated that Ryan had uploaded child pornography under the screen name “draxion-levi236.”
On March 19, the ICAC Task Force sent subpoenas to internet and telecommunications providers to confirm Ryan’s association with an IP address and a phone number linked to both CyberTips.
The report shows that on March 28, the task force obtained subscriber information confirming the connection to Rylee Ryan at a residence in Coconut Creek.
Further subpoenas revealed that Ryan’s Snapchat account showed he had uploaded sexually explicit images and videos, including multiple videos involving both male and female children being abused by adults.
On October 30, the ICAC Task Force officers executed a search warrant at Ryan’s residence, and he was apprehended outside his home. A forensic examination of his Android phone revealed five images of child pornography on the device.
Ryan was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
