A Parkland business attorney was arrested last week for allegedly committing a domestic battery, court records show.
Allan Mark Levine, 66, of Northwest 76th Street, is charged with battery on a person age 65 or older and domestic battery, court records show.
According to arrest records filed by the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Levine pushed the female victim—whose identity, age, and relationship to Levine are being withheld by Parkland Talk—in her chest area on April 2, causing her to fall on her back.
The woman did not appear to have any visible injuries, Parkland deputies wrote, but is “currently under hospital care for a possible fractured hip.”
The victim, records state, was “cooperative as she allowed photographs to be taken without incident,” but she also “refused to give a sworn statement.”
Levine was freed from jail on a $500 bond, records show.
According to the Florida Bar website, Levine practices law at the Becker & Poliakoff firm in Fort Lauderdale.
According to a biography on the firm’s site, he is chair of the firm’s business litigation practice.
