Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Coconut Creek

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Coconut Creek Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The deadly incident happened at 6:18 AM near the intersection of North State Road 7 and Loxahatchee Road.

Details of the incident were not immediately made public.

North State Road 7 was closed for several hours between West Hillsboro Boulevard and the Palm Beach County line as a result of the incident.
