
Coconut Creek Recreational Complex {Aiden Palmer}
Coconut Creek’s Peewee Sports program returns in January, offering young children the opportunity to build foundational skills in various sports.
Designed for children ages 3 to 5, the sessions feature interactive drills, exercises, and activities that introduce the basics of each sport in a fun, engaging environment.
Parental participation is required, with one parent accompanying each child. Both parents and participants must wear sneakers to each session. Participants will also receive a shirt, a certificate, and a medal to celebrate their accomplishments.
The program runs from January through May with the following schedule:
- Basketball: January 15 – February 5 (Wednesdays)
- Soccer: January 17 – February 7 (Fridays). The February 7 session will be held at Sabal Pines Park North Field at 5005 NW 39th Avenue.
- Baseball: February 19 – March 12 (Wednesdays)
- Volleyball: February 21 – March 14 (Fridays)
- Basketball: April 2 – April 23 (Wednesdays)
- Flag Football: April 25 – May 16 (Fridays). All Flag Football sessions will take place at Sabal Pines Park North Field.
Unless otherwise noted, all classes are held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
The cost is $45 per session for Coconut Creek residents and $55 for non-residents, with payment by credit card only. Each session is limited to 12 participants, ensuring a focused and personalized experience for every child.
Registration opens 30 days in advance of each session for Coconut Creek residents. Space permitting, non-residents may register 14 days before each session. Registration will remain open until sessions are full. Parents can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road.
