
Charles Taliaferro {Coconut Creek Police}
Police on Saturday were searching for a missing 25-year-old man in Coconut Creek.
The police department said they issued a Purple Alert for Charles Taliaferro. The alert is a state of Florida legal designation reserved for adults with cognitive or mental disabilities.
The designation does not apply to people with Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia, or substance use disorder, police said.
Taliaferro was last seen Friday at his home in Coconut Creek.
“His family is worried about him and would like for him to come back home,” police said in a social media post Saturday.
