
Ralph Diaz drops back to pass for North Broward Prep. {Matt Rothman}
The North Broward Prep football team picked up its first win of the season on Thursday night, defeating Pembroke Pines Charter 28-20.
Ralph Diaz did it all for the Eagles, throwing a pair of touchdown passes to Christian Deering and Vincent Jackson. Diaz also ran for two scores as NBP snapped a three-game losing streak to start the season.
The Eagles will have a week off before facing Saint Andrew’s School on Friday, September 18 at 6 p.m. The Scots are 2-1 this season and will play Palmer Trinity and Lakeland High School before their matchup with NBP. These teams met last season, with Saint Andrew’s earning a 30-9 victory.
