One lucky gambler walked away more than $1.6 million richer after hitting a grand jackpot at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on August 13.
According to the casino, the guest won the life-changing prize while playing a Dragon Link slot machine. The casino did not identify the winner or disclose the exact amount wagered before the jackpot hit.
Following the win, the Dragon Link progressive jackpot was reset to $1 million. Progressive slot jackpots begin at a base amount and increase as players make wagers on participating machines.
The latest jackpot continues a run of major Dragon Link wins at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Seven months ago, a player won a $1 million Dragon Link Grand Jackpot, while another guest won $1.3 million about a month before that.
Combined, Dragon Link jackpots at the casino have paid more than $4 million in less than a year, according to the casino.
The $1.6 million payout was not the casino’s only major jackpot this week.
Another guest won $775,860 after hitting a Royal Flush Multi-Game Progressive Jackpot while playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em.
