On Friday, the bomb squad was called after a suspicious package was found at the at the Broward Sheriff’s Office Parkland district.
“Around 9:34 a.m., we got the report of a suspicious box at the Parkland district office,” said public information officer Joy Oglesby. “BSO’s bomb squad responded, and after its investigation, it was determined that the box was safe. The all-clear was issued around 11:25 a.m.”
So what was in that suspicious package? “Rubber bracelets,” said Oglesby.
