The City of Coconut Creek invites families to a Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt for children aged 2 to 7.
Participants are encouraged to bring flashlights as they hunt to uncover hidden candy canes. Among the treasures are special “golden” candy canes, with exciting prizes for those lucky enough to find them.
Once the hunt concludes, attendees can warm up with complimentary hot chocolate.
The event takes place on Thursday, December 19, at the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road. It will be divided into two sessions: the first session, for children aged 2 to 4, runs from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the second session, for children aged 5 to 7, follows from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
The cost is $15 per child for Coconut Creek residents and $20 per child for non-residents. Payments must be made by credit card. Space is limited to 20 participants per session, so early registration is encouraged.
Registration is currently open and will remain available until sessions are full. Parents can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at either the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
